AL YHUH Confirmed His Second Oath With Yshral
(1) "These are the words of the oath, which YHUH commanded Mashah to cut with the children of Yshral in the land of Moab, besides the oath which He cut with them at Horeb."
Dbrym 29:1
AL YHUH reminded Yshral of what they witnessed in Mitsrayim.
(Dbrym 29:2-4) "(2) And Mashah called unto all Yshral, and said unto them, You have seen all that YHUH did before your eyes in the land of Mitsrayim unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; (3) The great temptations which your eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles: (4) Yet YHUH has not given you a heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day."
AL YHUH reminded Yshral of His provision, protection, and guidance in the wilderness.
(Dbrym 29:5-6) "(5) And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and your shoe is not waxen old upon your foot. (6) You have not eaten bread, neither have you drunk wine or strong drink: that you might know that I am YHUH your AL."
AL YHUH reminded Yshral of their victory over Sihon and Og.
(Dbrym 29:7-8) "(7) And when you came unto this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them: (8) And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh."
AL YHUH established His oath for all future generations of Yshral.
(Dbrym 29:9-15) "(9) Keep therefore the words of this oath, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do. (10) You stand this day all of you before YHUH your AL; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Yshral, (11) Your little ones, your wives, and your stranger that is in your camp, from the hewer of your wood unto the drawer of your water: (12) That you should enter into oath with YHUH your AL, and into his sworn agreement, which YHUH your AL makes with you this day: (13) That he may establish you today for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto you an AL, as he has said unto you, and as he has sworn unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Ytsaq, and to Yaiqob. (14) Neither with you only do I make this oath and this sworn agreement, (15) But with him that stands here with us this day before YHUH our AL, and also with him that is not here with us this day."
AL YHUH warned Yshral of the Root bearing gall and wormwood.
(Dbrym 29:16-18) "(16) For you know how we have dwelt in the land of Mitsrayim; and how we came through the nations which you passed by; (17) And you have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them: (18) Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turns away this day from YHUH our AL, to go and serve the mighty ones of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that bears gall and wormwood."
AL YHUH warned Yshral of the man who barukh's himsefl while contrary to AL.
(Dbrym 29:19-21) "(19) And it come to pass, when he hears the words of this Arur, that he barukh himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of my heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: (20) YHUH will not spare him, but then the anger of YHUH and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and YHUH shall blot out his name from under shmayim. (21) And YHUH shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Yshral, according to all the qelelot of the oath that are written in this Turah."
AL YHUH warned Yshral future generations will inquire about their destruction.
(Dbrym 29:22-24) "(22) So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which YHUH has laid upon it; (23) And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor bears, nor any grass grows therein, like the overthrow of Sedom, and Amorah, Admah, and Tseboyim, which YHUH overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: (24) Even all nations shall say, Wherefore has YHUH done thus unto this land? what means the heat of this great anger?"
AL YHUH warned Yshral of their future betrayal against His oath.
(Dbrym 29:25-28) "(25) Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the oath of YHUH AL of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Mitsrayim: (26) For they went and served other mighty ones, and worshipped them, mighty ones whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them: (27) And the anger of YHUH was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: (28) And YHUH rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day."
AL YHUH commanded Yshral His Torah to do forever.
(Dbrym 29:29) "(29) The secret things belong unto YHUH our AL: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this Turah."
